Founded in 1983 by John Heaford, JM Heaford Ltd began life as a manufacturer of a range of gravure proofing processes.
Even in our early years the company was known for flexible, customer-focussed approach; this led to us expanding the offering, including the addition of new and innovative technology such as the very first machines for mounting flexographic plates using microdot technology.
The company's willingness to listen to the customers while keeping machinery up-to-date in line with the latest cutting edge techniques and processes, means that Heaford rapidly grew to become a world leader in the supply of pre-press equipment with an unrivalled skills base across flexographic and gravure printing fields.
Such is expertise and standing in the field Heaford has won numerous awards including, most recently, a Gold Technical Innovation Award went to Narrow Web FTS Mounter at the European Flexographic Industry Association’s 2013 Print Awards.
